Always look forward to these colourful Rhododendrons coming out every year. Many people might not see them as they are almost 'round the top corner' of the usual walk through 9-Acre field next to the tennis courts. The gentle bank in the field was where I - along with many other local children in decades past had their first proper tobogganing runs - safe and 100 yard(!) run with a slow walk back up. The through path is a 'right of way' only so thanks to the college for respecting and allowing it. Their active ground staff are always friendly to walkers who respect the grounds also.
