I had cause to visit Malvern Minor Injuries Unit last week with an injured knee and cut face after an accident. The staff were very friendly, efficient, considerate and professional. It's such an advantage having this community facility. Less daunting than A&E!

I was very impressed by the friendly and efficient manner in which the nursing and radiographers dealt with my injury. I was only in the clinic for an hour and was given a follow up appointment for the following day at a fracture clinic.

Visited the minor injuries clinic for broken big toe. Staff were all the right combination of professional, helpful and friendly. They were considerate and mindful of my injury between departments. Very efficient between departments. I felt able to ask questions and that staff had time for me. They were informative and explained things in every day language.

Absolutely excellent. Managed to scratch my eye and worried that I had done something worse. Seen within 5 mins. Treated very professionally and kindly. Amazing for a Saturday night.

Well run and efficient unit. I like the patient number queuing system as you know where you are in the queue to be seen. Booked in, was then seen by a nurse, referred for x-ray, had x-ray and promptly re-seen by the nurse. Problem (fracture) explained. Put in splint and referred to orthopaedic consultation at Worcestershire Royal. The whole process took less than 45 minutes! Well done Worcestershire NHS.

First time visiting the Minor Injuries Unit. Friendly staff but seemed to be only one nurse on, thankfully not too busy.
Registered fairly quickly, & treated & out within 1.5 hours

Very good experience last night in the minor injuries unit. Called first and was told come straight away. My son had bang the back of his head and it was open, on his way to bed. We were met outside as they knew we were coming, took straight through and booked it. All obs done and glued back together in about 25/30 minutes. My son is only 3 and the gentleman treating my son was amazing with him.
Thank you

Went in on 5th of may due to a bad fall from a height, really really hurting my ankle. After initial triage, Nurse instantly discharged without any x-ray or any proper inspection. Told it was a sprain and should walk on it as much as possible.
3 weeks later I went back in and this time I had an x-ray. To their credit they seemed dumbfounded why I wasn't given an x-ray straight away by the first nurse. (I have to admit the staff on my second visit were decent)
5 weeks after the I initial incident I've now just been told by a consultant at Worcester royal it's a serious injury, I should have not been weight bearing at all. Should have had early intervention, would have been caught the first time around if I had an xray (which you'd assume would be a given if youve fallen on the side of your ankle from 3 meters high). Should have been immobilized. Injury is potentially with me for life now.
So thanks to that one miserable nurse who just wanted me gone as fast as possible from the clinic, I'm now potentially crippled and in pain for life (i'm 25 at time of writing this, so that's my life of sport and activity ruined) with, and i quote from my consultant "nothing medically that can be done if it doesn't heal correctly". Cheers for that. Luckily the hills are nearby so can always fling myself off them

Hello I went into the hospital in Malvern today around 1pm , as I was very anxious about my sore nose . It was really bothering me . I couldn’t stop worrying about it . I suffer from mental health issues. So any time I feel unwell I panic and desperately seek reassurance. No matter how trivial the concerns may be , I become really unsettled and feel like I can’t cope unless I get this reassurance from a medical professional. So I went into the hospital hoping for that . They normally have been great in the past . But I did worry if I’m wasting their time but felt had to go . There were no other patients apart from me . There were two ladies present , one was a nurse and the other who dealt with whoever came in I guess . I approach the waiting area and the Second Lady came out and asked what was the problem. I explained about my sore nostril and she said we can’t do anything about that . The nurse came out and asked , I explained , she said “there are no doctors here , as they prefer spending their weekends golfing “ don’t worry your nose isn’t going to drop off “ then the other lady started laughing . I felt uncomfortable and felt I was being ridiculed for coming in . I asked could you at least have a look just so I have some peace of mind please . She agreed thank god . That helped some what . And I left . I don’t think they realised how important this was to me . However trivial it may have been to them , it was a serious concern for me . I walked away feeling like a laughing stock. Questioning myself why I went in there . Was I being over the top about my nose . I was already worried about wasting the hospital’s time . But to be laughed at and made a joke out of my concerns , wasn’t a nice thing. I supported the nurses with what is going on regarding their pay etc but todays experience made me question that too.
