On visiting the cemetery today, I was shocked to see balloons flying above your stated 36inches of any memorabilia, to the extent that they were invading other peoples personal space! Balloons with Happy Birthday , as I entered the cemetery I thought I'd Gate crashed someone's outdoor party, hardly tasteful for so many others! Surely you as the town council have powers to restrict this sort of display!

Absolutely disgusting! The fact that someone's ego and aesthetic pleasures were more important that the grave of a deceased child and his grieving family is so revolting and disparaging. I hope they realize the entire world as a whole is ashamed of them.

An article has recently surfaced again about a decision made to remove a headstone placed by a grieving mother in the towns cemetary. The article is 5 years old now, however, I hope that the council has since come to their senses and replaced the headstone

Disgusting. I don't care how long ago it was, the recent responses from the council are still blaming the stonemason and upholding a ridiculous policy that headstones have to look a certain way to satisfy others. A woman lost her child, wanted him buried near family and all they care about is their idiotic aesthetics. Vile people through and through.

It's a truly sad world when "aesthetics" are deemed more important than the celebration and remembrance of a life. Disgusting. The council and everyone involved with the removal of that headstone should be ashamed of themselves.

I suggest a Go Fund Me page to allow that mother to get her son's body out of this cemetery that is being operated by such uncaring & stupid people. Move all the people from the family that are also buried there & let others rebury their loved ones too & just leave the family that complained by themselves. I certainly would never consider a burial in this cemetery. If children must be buried in a childrens' section, I guess that means they can't be buried with their parents or grandparents. And how anyone cqn complain about that tombstone, I'll never understand. It was adorable.

I have never visited, nor heard of Malvern and after reading about how they choose to blame a stonemason for their act of inhumanity, I never will. Is this what you want people all over the world to think of your town? Your replies and explanations are weak. Granted from a legal standpoint you are correct, but human empathy and understanding is what your council demonstrates a total lack of. The internet and information posted on the internet will likely survive long after your town ceases to exist; historians of the next century will read your statements and conclude that you and yours are why they are happy to have been born long after such narrow minded people fell from their positions of dominance.

You should be ashamed of yourselves who are you to decide what kind of headstone a parent can get for there child you are heartless individual's with no compassion if you have kids i hope they ask all of ya if ya are going to remove their headstones if they die. Really since when did the opinion of 1 person of or of 1 family give you the right to tell someone how to honor their child who has passed.

I am absolutely mad as can be what right do you have to move Jo Corbett sons head stone none how would you like to have yours moved or your loved one be told what shape you can have or not. You Malvern town council disgust me it's a good thing I don't live there because the head stone would stand no matter what. Remember what goes around comes around. Keep your eyes open!

They have no clue how to care for a body or a family who lost. Love one. They should care more about looks then feeling you sre nothing but coin in there pockey and you're body is nothing but a tool to hurt your family with to fprce them to pay for thefe awful treatment
